A textile can be angry because it has lost its connection to the body.
A body can be angry because it has lost the textile.
Anger can arise when the textile relationships tear, gag, bind
or are completely non-committal.
Cuddly blankets and bandages use the textile to heal injuries.
Perhaps we are angry to avoid being hurt in the first place
and the textile does not only react to adversity and violence.
Angry textile could have a liberating effect.
That is what this exhibition is working on.
